Grantmaking is the most visible product of a community foundation and represents the intersect of donor interests with community needs. Addressing and meeting changing and emerging needs in our county is the goal of the DeKalb County Community Foundation's grantmaking. The income generated by endowment funds is distributed, in the form of grants, to various community organizations.
