BOARD of DIRECTORS
A 21-member volunteer Board of Directors selected from representatives throughout the county governs the DeKalb County Community Foundation. Directors are chosen for a period of three years and may be renewed for an additional six years. The Board annually elects a president, a vice president, a secretary, and a treasurer. The Board sets policy, and formulates and determines priorities in grantmaking. Because of the willingness of these able, effective individuals who donate their time and talents to the ultimate betterment of DeKalb County, the Foundation continues to grow to enhance the quality of life for its citizens.
